The game

• KNELL has no accounts and no login. Your progress — saves, settings, Reliquary, unlocks — is stored on your device and nowhere else. Deleting the game deletes it.
• The game contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests of its own.
• Purchases are processed entirely by the store you bought through — Apple, Google, or Valve. We never see or store your payment details; the store handles the transaction and tells the game only that the unlock is owned. Restoring a purchase goes through the same store.
• The Discord and website links inside the game open in your system browser. From there, Discord's and this site's practices apply.

This website

• playknell.com runs no analytics of ours and has no forms. The site is served through Cloudflare, whose security layer may set strictly-necessary cookies (the kind that sort humans from bots and expire quickly — see below). Nothing tracks you for advertising and nothing profiles you, which is why there is still no banner: the law asks consent for tracking, not for keeping a site standing.
• Cloudflare is this site's shield, courier, and host: your requests are answered by it, so Cloudflare processes your IP address and may set functional cookies such as __cf_bm to tell browsers from bots. That processing serves and protects the site — nothing else. Cloudflare's practices are described in their privacy policy.
• We run no server of our own and keep no access logs. The site is served entirely from Cloudflare's infrastructure; what we can see is their aggregated traffic counts, which contain no per-visitor data for us to hold.
• Page fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address in the process, as with any content delivery network. Google's practices are described in their privacy policy.
• playknell.com/discord forwards to our Discord server. Discord is its own service with its own policy.

Children

KNELL is not directed at children, and since we collect nothing from anyone, we collect nothing from children either.

Your rights

Privacy laws in many places (GDPR, CCPA, and kin) give you the right to see, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. We hold none, so every such request has the same happy answer. For data held by Apple, Google, Valve, or Discord, ask them — it never passed through us.
